Tana Zhang

Ms. Tana Zhang is a seasoned strategic communications leader with over 15 years of experience, currently overseeing Edelman Smithfield’s financial services business across key Asian markets. She has extensive experience in corporate branding, public relations strategies, alternative investments marketing, and wealth management advisory.

Tana has partnered with leading buy- and sell-side institutions, including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Hillhouse, and Principal Asset Management. Before joining the consultancy, she worked with leading investment managers including PAG, Mizuho, and AIA, promoting and protecting the brands while advancing their strategic business goals

A firm believer in lifelong learning, Tana constantly seeks intellectual growth and meaningful connections. She serves as President of Hong Kong chapter at stars Foundation, a Swiss non-profit fostering future leader. She also founded HISTAR, a music initiative blending creativity with philanthropy, supporting sight-saving projects for the visually impaired.

Tana speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese. She studied public policy at Harvard Kennedy School, and is working on her MBA at Chicago Booth.
