Sinead Colton Grant is Global Head of Investor Solutions. The Investor Solutions Group draws on deep expertise in investment research and design, manager research, and portfolio management across public and private assets to deliver targeted investment outcomes for clients, ranging from asset allocation and model portfolio design, to fully outsourced solutions. She also leads the Responsible Investment practice and Digital Assets initiative.
Sinead has over 20 years of investment experience. She joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management in 2020 as Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Head of Equities, with responsibility for the Large Cap Equity investment group, the Equity Trading team and the Capital Markets Group. She chaired the Equity Strategy Committee and was Vice Chair of the Investment Policy Committee. Previously, she was Head of Global Investment and Product Strategy for Mellon, BNY Mellon Investment Management’s North American investment firm, which she joined in 2012 through Mellon Capital. She was a member of the Senior Leadership team, the Investment Risk Committee, and the Environmental, Social & Governance Investing Committee.
Prior to her role at Mellon, Sinead served as Managing Director of Investment Strategy for the Multi-Asset Client Solutions group at BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors in London, where she designed tailored investment solutions for institutional and wealth management clients in the UK and Continental Europe. Before joining Barclays Global Investors, Sinead held portfolio management roles at JP Morgan Investment Management, and was a founding partner and Head of Portfolio Management at Lee Overlay Partners.
Sinead earned an MSc in Finance from London Business School and a BBS in Finance from Dublin City University in Ireland. She was honored as one of the Irish America magazine Wall Street 50 in 2018 and 2019, which recognizes the contributions of Irish American and Irish born leaders in the financial industry.
