Siddharth Philip

Siddharth Philip is Bloomberg News' chief global correspondent for aviation and transportation where he helps lead coverage of the aerospace industry, landing scoops including United's merger attempt with American Airlines, Spirit Airline's demise and Nissan's CEO replacement. Based in New York since 2025, Sid previously lived in London where he helped lead Bloomberg's global aviation team and covered Airbus, European airlines and aircraft lessors.

Sid began his career at Bloomberg News in Mumbai, and has previously covered shipping, automobiles, conglomerates and telecoms. He has a masters degree in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and was previously the head of the CEO's office at Royal Enfield motorcycles.
