Mark Burgess

Mark Burgess is Chairman – Investment Committee, Director – Australian Retirement Trust (AUM $360bn) and advisor to global asset owners. He was previously CEO – Future Fund, Australia’s $200bn Sovereign Wealth Fund. He has worked internationally including as London based Executive-Vice-Chairman and CEO of Credit Suisse Asset Management (EMEA) and Global CIO for Equities/ Multi-Assets. Other global CIO roles for American Express Asset Management, Colonial First State and Bankers Trust. He is a Director of Australia’s largest medical indemnity company – Avant Insurance, Chairman of Advisory Committee of Jamieson Coote Bonds, Co-Chair Capital Markets Group – Australia/China Business Council, Chair (Asia) of Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, Advisory board of early stage VC IP Group (Australia), and Governor of Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
