John Wu

John Wu is Senior Advisor and former President of Ava Labs, the company behind Avalanche — the platform used by institutions and developers to build blockchain-based financial infrastructure.

As President, Avalanche grew to more than two million daily users and a network market cap that exceeded $10 billion, making it one of the fastest-scaling blockchain platforms in the world. Among the first leaders to bridge institutional finance and blockchain infrastructure, Wu is a longtime investor and operator in fintech and blockchain.

A former investor at Tiger Management and founder of Sureview Capital — a Blackstone-backed hedge fund — he has spent more than two decades investing in and building technology companies. Wu holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
