Mr. Liu has more than 10 years of experience in the capital markets and has been involved in more than US$25 billion of investments and transactions, including primary and semi-secondary market investments, Hong Kong and U.S. stock IPOs, bond offerings, and investments.
Mr. Liu has specialized expertise in public market investment, derivatives and structured products trading, capital market management, and corporate governance of listed companies.
Mr. Liu is currently the Chairman of China Region and Chief Investment Officer of Reynold Lemkins (the “Group”), responsible for the Group's overall asset allocation strategy, development strategy, risk control, public relations, and government relations. Since 2021, Mr.
Liu has been leading the Group to achieve significant investment returns and continues to deliver steady year-on-year cash returns.
The Reynold Lemkins Group is a diversified investment institution established and contributed by a single family, mainly investing in stocks, bonds and derivatives listed in Hong Kong, Singapore and U.S. capital markets. Portfolio of the Group also includes real estate, private equity funds, arts, quantitative funds, etc.
Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Liu formerly served in the Sales and Trading Division of Goldman Sachs in 2016-2017 and the Investment Banking Division of Haitong International in 2017-2020, where he participated in the investments and financing transactions of the crossover and IPO of many large cap Chinese stocks, including Xiaomi, China Literature, Tencent Music, Postal Savings Bank, Luckin Coffee, JD Health, Kuaishou, etc. He was also an investor and film producer during 2017-2019 of the Nezha, cooperating with Jay Chou as the executive producer. He was an angel investor for tech startups as well.
Mr. Liu is also committed to realizing social value, and advises as a committee member and consultant of think tanks and associations in China, such as Center for China Globalization, Beijing Association for Science and Technology, Beijing Federation of Overseas Chinese, Beijing Young Entrepreneurs Association, etc., and has been awarded Forbes China 30 Under 30 Elite, Outstanding Youth for United Nations Sustainable Development, etc.
Mr. Liu graduated from the University of Hong Kong and MIT, and is qualified for CFA and CPA.
