Daju Gu

He currently serves as Board Secretary of Surfin Group and was previously Chief Operating Officer of the Toronto Options Futures and Swap Exchange. Prior to that, he was President of Razor Risk Technologies, TMX Group, where he worked with teams across Toronto, Sydney, New York, and London to support clients on global regulatory initiatives.

Daju Gu is a seasoned executive and management consultant with over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. He has led numerous multi-disciplinary initiatives in business strategy, regulatory compliance, and transformation for institutions including RBC, TD, BMO, Scotiabank, and TMX Group.

Renowned for his strength in communications, technology, and execution, Daju has a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, while exceeding client expectations. He is also a frequent speaker at international conferences, risk management forums, and training workshops.

Daju is a Professional Engineer and a certified Project Management Professional. He holds a B.Sc. from Tongji University and an M.Sc. from the University of Alberta.
