Alexandra Semenova

Alexandra Semenova is a strategist at the Schwab Center for Financial Research responsible for bringing market views to life through video, social media, live events, and emerging platforms. She works closely with asset class and trading experts across Charles Schwab to produce insights and educational content that help investors better understand markets and personal finance, while expanding the reach and impact of the firm’s research.

Prior to joining Schwab, Alexandra was a reporter at Bloomberg News, translating complex market dynamics into clear, actionable insights for a global investor audience on Bloomberg TV and Radio, as well as in written reports and analysis on the Bloomberg Terminal and web. She has interviewed major investors and economists across Wall Street, distilling their perspectives into narratives on the forces shaping financial markets.

Alexandra has a master’s degree in business and economics reporting from the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Journalism and received her undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York and currently resides in Manhattan.
